St. Clair County basketball tournament continues tonight at SHS.

The schedule for SHS teams are as follows:


SHS JV Girls (#2) will play Ragland (#3) Fri., Jan. 27 @ 4:00.

SHS JV Boys (#3) will play Moody (#2) Fri., Jan. 27 at 5:00.

SHS Varsity Girls (#2) will play St. Clair Co. (#3) Fri., Jan. 27 @ 6:00.


Clothing drive for lightly used or new jackets now through February 10th for the Pell City Boys and Girls Club. Bins will be located in the office.



January 31st is the make-up date for the wrestling match that was cancelled Jan. 9th. The match is between Oneonta, Leeds, Ashville, and Springville.



Miss Springville Scholarship Pageant will be Sunday, February 5, 2012.

The Springville High School Beta Club and Key Club are collecting used jeans for the Homeless. We will be accepting these jeans through the end of January. Please bring/send any jeans you have to the school and turn them in to Mrs. Umphrey or Ms. Higdon.



SHS Key Club is going to have a prom dress consignment sale. Anyone can submit dresses to sell. The seller will receive 60% and Key Club will receive 40%. The seller will set the price for their dress(es). If you have dresses from your own kids or you personally, please enter them in the sale. Proceeds from this sale are going towards a donation to Children's Hospital in the club's name and will pay for some of our students to attend the state Key Club Convention in Mobile.
Sale Dates: February 9 &10 Hours: 3-7 p.m. on the 9th and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 10th.



A signup sheet for cheerleading tryouts is located outside Ms. Saffles's door and will be there until Feb. 10. Sign up if you are interested in being a member of next year's squad or talk with Mrs. Saffles. There is a mandatory meeting Thursday, Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. for all trying out for cheerleader and their parents.
