Course Description

The basic outline for Career Exploration is to explore, compare/contrast, and develop a better understanding of various types of careers. Therefore, students will be more aware of different jobs and occupations in life. They will be equipped with tools for pursuing and obtaining those opportunities in life.

There will be three parts to this course.

Grading

I do not give grades! You will nee to bring in a speaker guest it counts as a major part of your grade. I expect each student to do his/her absolute best to earn their grades. The student grades are weighted in the following manner:

Attendance 

It is extremely important to attend all class meetings because this class will be moving at a steady pace with numerous activities, notes, etc. Make up work will be difficult if a lot of time is missed. Make up work is completed at home and not during regular class time. Absolutely, no make up work will be accepted after two days. Make up tests will be scheduled on specific prearranged day. It is the student's responsibility to obtain and complete any make up work or test.

Rules

1.    Respect everyone.

2.    Be in your seat when the bell rings.

3.    Come to class prepared.

4.    Sit in your assigned seat daily.

5.    Follow directions the first time they are given.
